Ohio State football recruiting update. Haskell Garrett, the nation's No. 2 defensive tackle, committed to the Buckeyes on Tuesday.
February 9, 2016The Ohio State recruiting train kept rolling along on Tuesday. With the ink having barely dried on their 2016 class, which finished No. 2 in the nation, the Buckeyes landed a commitment from highly-touted defensive tackle Haskell Garrett.
Garrett, from Las Vegas, Nev., picked Ohio State over the likes of Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, USC and numerous other big-time programs.
He sent out the following tweet announcing his decision.

Garrett is ranked as the No. 2 defensive tackle and No. 22 overall player for the class of 2017. He’s the 11th commitment in an already stacked class for Ohio State, which includes two 5-stars and eight 4-stars.
