Ohio State football recruiting analysis of commits who could flip with National Signing Day approaching.

Urban Meyer is a recruiting magician with the rabbit he pulled out of his hat on Monday. Ohio State began the week by landing a trio of big-time commitments.

The Buckeyes started off with a commitment from 4-star wide receiver Binjimen Victor. Approximately four hours later, Meyer flipped 4-star quarterback Dwayne Haskins and 4-star linebacker Keandre Jones from Maryland.

Suddenly, the Buckeyes are on top once again with the No. 1-ranked class.

With two weeks to go until National Signing Day, Meyer would like to add some more stars to his already star-studded class, which, according to Haskins, is a matter of when, not if.

Below are three recruits who could flip from Ohio State, as well as three committed recruits who could flip to the Buckeyes.

Ohio State Commits Who Could Flip From The Buckeyes

    1. Jack Wohlabaugh, 3-star offensive guard

    Biggest Threat: Michigan

While he’s been committed to the Buckeyes since April 18, 2015, Jack Wohlabaugh has at least one major program trying to sway him away. And it’s whom Ohio State refers to as that team up North. Jim Harbaugh isn’t ready to call it quits on Wohlabaugh just yet.

    2. Wayne Davis, 4-star cornerback

    Biggest Threat: Virginia Tech

With Frank Beamer retiring, it’s easy to see why one would prefer to head to Ohio State instead of Virginia Tech. Urban Meyer has the program functioning at a high level, and it remains to be seen what the status of the Hokies will be. But, being that Wayne Davis is from Norfolk, Va., it’s understandable to imagine a possible flip to Virginia Tech. Davis wouldn’t be the first player to stay closer to home.

    3. Gavin Cupp, 3-star offensive tackle

    Biggest Threat: Michigan State

This one is definitley a long shot, but Gavin Cupp is certainly on the radar of the Michigan State Spartans. Mark Dantonio has quicly become one of the best coaches in college football, and he has a win over Ohio State this past season to brag about to recruits. The Spartans are still after Cupp and won’t give up until he signs his name on a letter of intent.

Commmitted Recruits Who Could Flip To Ohio State

    1. Cedrick Wright, 3-star safety

    Committed: Miami

We all know Urban Meyer loves to snag recruits from the “Sunshine State.” Ever since Meyer landed the job with Florida, he’s worked that pipeline year in and year out. And now he’s brought Floridian recruits to Ohio State. He already has four commits in the 2016 class from Florida, and he’s hoping Cedrick Wright can be the fifth. Wright has been committed to the Hurricanes for about a year, but Meyer won’t give up until National Signing Day.

    2. Rodjay Burns, 3-star cornerback

    Committed: Louisville

If the Buckeyes are ever going to go all in on a pitch to sway Rodjay Burns away from Louisville, it’ll come this Friday when he visits Columbus, Ohio. He’s been committed to the Cardinals since March 7, 2015, but Ohio State is rounding out one of the top classes in the country and should be competing for a championship much, much sooner than Louisville.

    3. Sam Bruce, 4-star wide receiver

    Committed: Miami

Sam Bruce was one of the first commits in Miami’s 2016 class, and it was thought that he and Jack Allison were going to be the dynamic duo Hurricanes fans were hoping for. Even with the firing of Al Golden and hiring of Mark Richt, Bruce has stayed true. But recent Ohio State commit Dwayne Haskins has been in contact with the 4-star wide receiver, and the Buckeyes have emerged as a legitimate threat to flip Bruce.
