The All-Time Draft Team selected by the New York Giant franchise.
March 21, 2016Looking at what players make the all-time draft team.
What does it take to be on the New York Giants’ all-time draft team? Considering the history of the franchise, you’d think it would take something special to be among the greatest drafted players ever, but some positions – like wide receiver – were way thin.
With the exception of Eli Manning – drafted by San Diego by traded on draft weekend – to get on the team you had to be drafted by the Giants and play the best years of your career with them.
One other note, just to get a Hall of Fame player in the mix – along with the slightly more deserving Tiki Barber – Tuffy Leemans gets put on the list as a fullback, which he technically was, even though he was only 195 pounds.
