Nevada vs. Wyoming prediction and game preview. The Wolf Pack look to improve to 4-3 as they take on the Cowboys in Laramie.
October 13, 2015Can Wyoming (0-6) do anything right? It’s been a miserable season for the Cowboys, losing every game by double digits. Nevada (3-3) has been underwhelming, but it beat New Mexico last week and has an easy stretch now with Hawaii and Fresno State up next. Check out the Nevada vs. Wyoming preview and prediction.

The Wyoming defense can’t slow down the run in any way – the Nevada attack should be able to crank out yards in chunks – but the biggest overall problem is turnover margin, failing to win it in any game this year and going a -8 on the season. The two takeaways in last week’s loss to Air Force doubled the total on the year.
Nevada’s offense isn’t working like it’s supposed to. It’s running well, but the Cowboy athletic linebackers should be able to swarm around the ball a bit – it just dealt with the Air Force running game. Okay, so the Cowboys weren’t any good against the Falcons, and they made too many plays down the field, but if they can avoid giving up the big pass play – Nevada is struggling to do anything right to throw the ball – they might be okay.
Nevada will run too well for Wyoming to overcome an early deficit. The Cowboys will give up 300 rushing yards, and they’ll be -2 in turnover margin – again – giving away too many easy points.
Final Score: Nevada 30, New Mexico 17, Line: Nevada -6, o/u: 52.5
