And You Care Because … Dak Prescott threw four touchdown passes with two to Brandon Holloway from ten and 55 yards out in the second half as Mississippi State rolled to an easy win. The Bulldogs got up 21-0 on two Fred Ross touchdown runs from 14 and 33 yards out, and De’Runnya Wilson caught a 28-yard scoring pass, but NC State fought back. Pharoah McKever caught one pass, but he made it count on an 82-yard touchdown play, and Jaylen Samuels ran for a 48-yard score to make it interesting, but MSU stayed comfortably ahead on a fumble recovery for a score and a Westin Graves field goal.

– Mississippi State WR De’Runnya Wilson caught five passes for 96 yards and a score, and Brandon Holloway caught four passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns.
– NC State RB Nyheim Hines ran 13 times for a game-high 70 yards, and returned six kicks for 129 yards.

Game Rating: C. NC State didn’t give up after getting rolled early, but Dak Prescott and the Mississippi State offense were way too good. This was Prescott’s way to go out – dominating while showing the NFL scouts that he really is a true pro prospect.
