Air Force took control of the Mountain division race with an impressive win. Karson Roberts threw three interceptions for Air Force, but he also threw two long touchdown passes finding Garrett Griffin for a 51-yard score and Jalen Robinette for a 67-yard touchdown on the way to a 31-13 lead. Boise State got up 10-0, starting out with an 83-yard Jeremy McNichols scoring run on the first play from scrimmage, but the Air Force offense went to work. The Falcons turned it over four times, but they also rolled at will up until late in the third quarter. And then Boise State came back, with Thomas Sperbeck catching a 34-yard touchdown pass and Thomas Stuart running for a two-yard touchdown to pull within seven, but a 45-yard Air Force field goal was just enough to pull ahead for good. Boise State got a 45-yard field goal to get back within seven with 11 seconds left, but Air Force recovered the onside kick. Air Force outgained Boise State 607 yards to Boise State.
