    Final Score: Mississippi State 62, Northwestern State 13

    1. Mississippi State got up 20-0 in the first helped by a 49-yard Gabe Myles touchdown catch and with Ashton Shumpert scoring from 17 yards out. Myles ran for a six-yard score in the second.

    2. Dak Prescott threw two touchdown passes, and Nick Fitzgerald ran for two short scores after the score was well out of reach. The Bulldogs also got a 37-yard touchdown catch from Joe Morrow and a 49-yarder from Donald Gray.

    3. Northwestern State managed two Chris Moore field goals and a ten-yard De’Mard Llorens scoring run.

    Mississippi State

    – Dak Prescott completed 10-of-11 passes for 227 yards and two scores, and ran six times for 54 yards.

    – Donald Gray caught four passes for 140 yards and a score.

    – MSU gained 647 yards and held MW State to 1-of-13 on third down chances.
