The real question here is if Iowa hang within the 21.5-point spread. On the bright side of the road, this is the final game of a tough three-game stretch for the Hawkeyes. They should handle Illinois next week to reach bowl eligibility, and then face a coin flip game against Nebraska to close out the season. As for Michigan, the Wolverines continue their death march toward The Game.

Stop. Iowa is not beating Michigan. It’s not happening. Wilton Speight will hook up with Jake Butt for a touchdown. He’ll connect with Amara Darboh for another, and De’Veon Smith will zig and zag his way in for a rushing touchdown. Jabrill Peppers will get a few carries and will continue to show off the athleticism, but he’ll have an average day overall because he won’t be needed as much in an easy Wolverines win.

Michigan continues to be one of the most impressive teams in the country in Year 2 of the Jim Harbaugh era. Wilton Speight was named the Big Ten’s co-offensive player of the week after a 362-yard, two-touchdown performance through the air, while De’Veon Smith ran for 114 yards and three scores in last week’s 59-3 win over Maryland. But the defense has been even more exceptional, as it held its fourth opponent in the last five games to eight points or fewer. The Hawkeyes have taken a step back this year, and that continues in an easy win for the Wolverines.

Michigan will destroy Iowa, but take heart, Hawkeyes fan. At least Iowa City didn’t put out a video like this Ames one.

There are sooooooooooooo many great things about that video, that I will soon be writing a review on it. Hooray!
