    Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl Recap

    Score: Michigan 41, Florida 7

    Prediction: Michigan 23, Florida 14, Line: Michigan -4.5, o/u: 40.5

And You Care Because … Michigan busted open a 7-7 game with 34 unanswered points helped by three Jake Rudock touchdown passes, two Kenny Allen field goals, and a two-yard run from Sione Houma scoring run. Drake Johnson started out the scoring for the Wolverines in the first quarter, and later scored on an eight-yard catch in the fourth, but Florida tied it up with a trick play on a two-yard pass from Antonio Callaway to Treon Harris. That was it for the fun. The Gator offense was stuffed time and again, while Michigan’s offense was unstoppable converting 9-of-12 third down chances.

    What Else?

    – Michigan QB Jake Rudock completed 20-of-31 passes for 278 yards and three scores, and ran four times for 29 yards.

    – Florida QB Treon Harris completed 8-of-21 passes for 146 yards and a pick, and ran 11 times for a team-high 55 yards, and caught a two-yard touchdown pass.

    – Michigan RB De’Veon Smith ran 25 times for 109 yards

    – Michigan WR Jehu Chesson caught five passes for 118 yards and a score.

    – Total Yards: Michigan 503 – Florida 273

    – Time of Possession> Michigan 36:13 – Florida 21:22

Game Rating: D-. This was a total dud after the first quarter. The Florida offense was painful, and the defense didn’t appear any of the same fire or intensity it showed throughout the year. Once the Wolverines got rolling, this was over.
