Everything you need to know about the Michigan State vs. Iowa online live stream and TV broadcast, as well as game notes and prediction.

The Michigan State Spartans will hit the road to visit the Iowa Hawkeyes in Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Tuesday night.

It’ll be the first test on the road for the No. 1-ranked Spartans without their star player, Denzel Valentine, who’s out with a knee injury.

Michigan State narrowly beat Oakland in overtime last week to stay unbeaten, 99-93, but let’s see how Sparty does against a tough Iowa squad on its home floor.

The Hawkeyes have bounced back nicely since losing to Iowa State almost three weeks ago. They’ve beaten Drake and Tennessee Tech to improve to 9-3. If there was ever a time for Iowa to go up against the nation’s top team, it’s now.

Below is everything you need to know about the game, including the Michigan State vs. Iowa online live stream, TV broadcast information, game notes and prediction.

This could easily go into overtime — especially with the game being in Iowa City. We don’t know how Michigan State is going to handle playing on the road without Valentine. The Spartans should rely on Forbes once again to bury some triples. The Hawkeyes will pull down some rebounds, but Harris will do enough damage in the scoring column to help the Spartans win on the road. It could very easily be a close one though.

    • In its 65 seasons playing basketball in the Big Ten Conference, Michigan State has compiled a 30-35 record in Big Ten openers, including a 13-25 record on the road. Tom Izzo is 12-8 in Big Ten openers, including 5-7 on the road. This is the 10th time in the last 15 seasons that MSU has opened conference play on the road, including the sixth time that the Spartans will open with a pair of road games.
    • Iowa has had nine different players core in double figures at least once this season. Senior Jarrod Uthoff has reached double figures in every game.
