A Michigan football recruiting update for the week of March 16, 2016.

He may be the most interesting man in all of college football. He’s also one of the game’s best recruiters.

Incredibly, Jim Harbaugh has taken Michigan football and turned it into a bigger brand than it ever was before.

Between climbing trees and attending high school classes with prospects, the Wolverines head coach has personalized the nature of recruiting, while nationalizing the Michigan brand to the point that it’s national news on a daily basis.

The one piece capable of completing the maize and blue puzzle is a national championship. In order to check that box, Harbaugh needs to continue landing commitments at his current rate.

As spring practice continues, here’s a look at how Michigan’s 2017 class shakes out right now.
