Prediction:Washington State 35, Miami 31, Line: Washington State -2.5, o/u: 62
And You Care Because … In the cold and the snow, Washington State got two touchdown passes from Luke Falk – finding Jamal Morrow from 31 yards out in the first, and hitting Gabe Marks from 25 yards away in the second, but the offense stopped. The Cougars were up 20-7 in the first half after Miami made way too many mistakes and missed several opportunities, but Brad Kaaya hit Stacy Coley from four yards out in the first, and Mark Walton made it a six-point game with a five-yard run in the fourth. The Hurricanes were driving deep in the final minutes, but a lost fumble clinched the game for Wazzu.
What Else?

Game Rating: B+. The weather conditions made it even more dramatic. Miami fought through it and had a chance late, but Washington State was able to hang on because of its defense. The Cougar O might have faltered, but it did what it needed to do early on to get the bowl win. Wazzu came a long way from the opener against Portland State.
