Mark Richt is reportedly going back to his old stomping grounds to coach the Miami Hurricanes.

He was fired by Georgia after 15 years with the Bulldogs, in which he led the program to a 145-51 overall record and a 9-5 mark in bowl games, but could never capture that elusive national title.

Richt played quarterback for the Hurricanes from 1979-82.

Plenty of fellow former Miami players were pleasantly surprised by the decision to bring Richt back down to South Florida.

Below is a roundup of excited reactions to the news.
