    1. In a crazy shootout, Memphis closed out a 22-point fourth quarter with a three-yard Sam Craft touchdown run with just under a minute to play to break a 46-46 tie and get the win. Cincinnati’s last-gasp drive was snuffed out by an interception.

    2. Cincinnati QB Hayden Moore stepped in for Gunner Kiel, who was carted off the field after getting knocked out of the game with a high, targeted hit. Moore was fantastic throwing for 557 yards and four scores in the see-saw battle. Kiel ran for a touchdown, but got nailed for a pick six from Arthur Maulet in the first quarter.

    3. How crazy were the offensive fireworks? Cincinnati threw for 620 yards – but threw three picks – and finished with 752 yards of total offense while Memphis cranked up 570.


    – Paxton Lynch completed 24-of-36 passes for 412 yards and two scores and led the team with 52 rushing yards on 11 carries.

    – Anthony Miller led the Tigers with 156 yards and a score on five catches.

    – Third down conversions: Memphis 3-of-11, Cincinnati 7-of-17


    – Hayden Moore completed 31-of-53 passes for 557 yards and four scores with two picks.

    – Max Morrison caught nine passes for 162 yards and two scores, Chris Moore caught five passes for 153 yards and a score, and Shaq Washington caught nine passes for 120 yards and a touchdown.

    – Cincinnati was penalized 11 times for 101 yards, Memphis nine times for 100 yards.
