    LSU football recruiting update, as the Tigers continue to shape their 2017 class.

    With all the hysteria surrounding college football recruiting, it’s important to realize when the key moments are for coaches and recruiters.

    Sure, the window of opportunity between the end of the dead period and National Signing Day is critical, but the real work is put in now. Both spring and summer are used to lay the groundwork in recruiting. It’s when relationships are built and bonds are forged.

    Les Miles is no stranger to the game, except for that game just took a bit of a turn. Quarterback Anthony Jennings announced his decision to transfer from LSU last week, and now Miles will have to tack on a quarterback in this cycle to build for the future.
