LSU football recruiting update, as the Tigers are laying the groundwork for their 2017 class.
The chatter surrounding Les Miles and his job security will continue on as LSU makes its way through the 2016 season, but “hot seat buzz” won’t keep the Tigers head coach from doing his job on the recruiting trail.
After landing the No. 4 class in the 2016 recruiting cycle, LSU is making moves for the future, having extended a series of scholarship offers to recruits past the 2017 class.
This past week the Tigers also made some noteworthy decisions regarding their coaching staff. Offensive coordinator Cam Cameron signed a three-year contract extension, and defensive line coach Ed Orgeron was named the program’s recruiting coordinator. This fortification of the staff – especially the promotion of Louisiana native Orgeron – should help quell any concerns of instability surrounding the program.
Get ready, folks, because Miles is about to turn up the heat on the recruiting trail.
Below is a look at how the Tigers’ 2017 recruiting class is looking right now.
