Apparently there’s a mass exodus of quarterbacks from College Station. On Wednesday, Billy Liucci reported that true freshman quarterback Kyler Murray told Texas A&M that he intends to transfer.

This news comes on the heels of fellow quarterback Kyle Allen announcing his intentions to transfer earlier in December, and being granted a release from the team.

Whether or not Murray actually calls it quits with the Aggies remains to be seen. Liucci also reported that Texas A&M is scrambling to try to keep the highly-regarded quarterback in College Station.

Texas A&M fans have to be scratching their heads right about now, and they’re not alone. Twitter was also shocked by the news. Below is a roundup of reactions from fans and media members.

Murray was the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback and No. 33 overall player in the nation for 2015, according to 247Sports.

He threw for 686 yards, five touchdowns and seven interceptions in his freshman season. Murray saw playing time in eight total games.
