The Michigan State Spartans capped off the month of March by adding a third recruit to their 2017 class when 4-star offensive guard Kevin Jarvis committed to Michigan State.
The nation’s No. 13 offensive guard tweeted out a message Thursday afternoon with the news. He joined tight end Jack Camper and wide receiver Cody White as March pledges for Michigan State.
Jarvis held offers from Florida, Auburn, Michigan and Maryland, among others.
He’s a 6-foot-5, 324-pound mauler of an offensive lineman. He’s still growing as a pass protector, but Jarvis packs a lot of power and tenacity into his game. If he continues to improve his footwork, there’s a chance he makes the switch to offensive tackle once he gets to East Lansing, Mich. — assuming Dantonio can keep him committed through National Signing Day.
