Keith Marshall’s 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine dropped jaws.
There was a set list of NFL Combine participants everyone expected to show out at Lucas Oil Stadium.
For some players, specifically the ones who weren’t atop that list, they were out to prove something. Former Georgia running back Keith Marshall was one of those players.
After opening eyes on Thursday with 25 bench reps at the NFL Combine, which lead halfbacks, Marshall lit up the Internet from Indianapolis with a lightning-quick 40-yard dash.
Marshall was unofficially clocked at 4.29 seconds — putting himself in the same conversation as Chris Johnson, who set the 40-yard-dash record at 4.24 seconds in 2008.
His former Georgia teammates took their hyped reactions to the World Wide Web.
Malcolm Mitchell chimed in.
