Kapri Doucet commits to the Oklahoma Sooners with less than two weeks until National Signing Day.
January 22, 2016Bob Stoops sure does know how to get his weekend off to a good start. The Oklahoma head football coach capped off Thursday by securing a commitment from 4-star Amani Bledsoe, the nation’s No. 8 strong-side defensive end and No. 155 overall recruit, according to the 247Sports Composite.
That commit had a pretty significant impact as Bledsoe became Oklahoma’s highest-rated recruit in its 2016 class, and it pushed the Sooners to No. 25 in the 247Sports Composite team rankings.
On Friday afternoon, Stoops landed a commitment from 3-star outside linebacker Kapri Doucet.
In the 247Sports JUCO rankings he’s listed as the No. 100 recruit and No. 8 outside linebacker. Doucet, from Williamsburg, Va., tweeted out his decision to become a Sooner.
