Jim Harbaugh’s musical debut will be a cameo in a production by some University of Michigan students.
Where in the world is Jim Harbaugh? Well, we know where he will be this weekend, and it’s not climbing a tree or sleeping over at a recruit’s house.
The Michigan head coach will have a cameo in the University of Michigan’s student-run musical theatre organization’s production of “Big Fish,” according to MLive.com.
James Harbaugh Jr., his son, is already in the cast and will have the unique opportunity to stamp his freshman year of college by sharing the stage with his father — a.k.a. the most beloved man in Ann Arbor, Mich. right now.
The co-producers of the musical are Hillary Ginsberg and Shira Wolf, and Ginsberg gave credit to the Harbaughs for adding the minor role to the production.
“Between the two of them they worked out a small little appearance that Jim will be doing on Saturday, which is really exciting,” Ginsberg said. “We don’t want to ruin too much, so we’ll let the people in the audience on Saturday get to see the really fun thing Jim will be doing.”
Of course, the Wolverines coach had to tweet out some free publicity for the show.
The family & I have tickets to all 3 shows for @UMMusket Big Fish w/@JamesHarbaughJr & looking forward to my theatrical debut on Saturday.
