James Cook committed to FSU on Friday, choosing to follow in his brother’s footsteps at Florida State.

Oh brother, where art thou? The answer is Tallahassee, Fla.

FSU fans may be slightly bummed about the fact the 2016 season will most likely be Dalvin Cook’s last with the Seminoles, but they can rejoice in the excitement of watching his brother play in garnet and gold.

James Cook, a 5-foot-10, 188-pound running back from Miami Central High School, committed to FSU on Friday morning, giving Jimbo Fisher his second commitment for the 2019 class.

And when he tweeted out the announcement, wouldn’t you believe it … he included a picture of the Seminoles’ current star running back — ah, brotherly love.

Much like his brother, James Cook has the ability to make one cut and turn up field for huge chunks of yards. He has the downhill ability, but can also make plays while moving East-West.

Most importantly, he his vision is far above average. If given a sliver of daylight, James Cook can get skinny, split the gap and hit the second and third levels.

Remember, Seminoles fans, there are times when sequels are as good as the originals — if not better.
