4-Star WR Jalen Reagor Flips To TCU From Oklahoma
Four-star wide receiver Jalen Reagor flipped to TCU from Oklahoma Thursday night. The Sooners fell from the No. 1 class ranking in 2017 following the decision.

Four-star wide receiver Jalen Reagor flipped to TCU from Oklahoma Thursday night.
There are few things as special as home.
That’s exactly what led to 4-star recruit Jalen Reagor’s decision to flip his commitment from Oklahoma to TCU on Thursday night.
Ranked as the nation’s No. 11 wide receiver and No. 90 overall player, Reagor, who’s from Waxahachie, Texas, released a statement regarding his decision, citing his desire to stay close to home as the reason.
“I want to first start off by saying this was a very hard decision for me to make. I want to thank the University of Oklahoma and the coaches for believing in me and blessing me with a scholarship offer — especially coach Bob Stoops, Cale Gundy, Lincoln Riley and Dennis Simmons. I’ve talked to my family, teammates, coaches at my school and, most of all, God, and I have decided to stay closer to my family and friends. So, without further [ado], I would like to announce that I will be decommitting from OU and committing to TCU to play with my current teammate Kenedy Snell and past teammate Jordan Kitna. Thank you to everyone who has been with me on the journey. This is my decision.”
For the Sooners, they lost 209 recruiting points and their hold of the No. 1 spot in the 2017 recruiting rankings. Ohio State is once again on top while Bob Stoops’ team now sits at No. 3 with 21 total commits.
Reagor was one of three 4-star receivers from the Lone Star State that Oklahoma had committed. CeeDee Lamb, the No. 31 receiver, and Charleston Rambo, the No. 26 receiver, were the other two. They’re from Richmond and Cedar Hill, respectively.
As for the Horned Frogs, they now have eight commits and sit at No. 50 in the class rankings. Snell, whom Reagor mentioned in his statement, is the No. 126 receiver in the nation. Kitna, the son of former NFL quarterback Jon Kitna, was an unranked quarterback in the 2016 class who walked on at TCU this season.
Reagor’s decision comes almost three weeks after he officially visited Fort Worth for the Horned Frogs’ 52-46 loss to the Sooners.
