Jalen Ramsey’s 40-yard dash and vertical jump highlighted an impressive NFL Combine showing.

The 2016 NFL Draft is getting closer and closer, so you better have April 28 circled on your calendars because the fun is about to get started.

As we wrap up the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, there was one player who definitely solidified his draft stock with the eye-popping numbers he put up at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey was already considered a top-five pick, but the Seminole displayed his athleticism with an 11-foot-3-inch broad jump and a 41.5-inch vertical jump.

While he wasn’t close to former UGA wide receiver Chris Conley’s record of 45 inches, Ramsey did crack the 40-inch club, which is impressive in its own right.

The other highly-rated defensive back in the same conversation as Ramsey is former Florida Gator Vernon Hargreaves III, who is considered the best pure cornerback prospect in the draft because Ramsey is expected to move to safety at the next level.

    Hargreaves posted a 10-foot-10-inch broad jump, a 39-inch vertical and a 4.50-second official 40-yard dash, while Ramsey’s official 40-yard dash time was 4.41 seconds.

Hargreaves will still be in the top-10 range, but Ramsey has locked himself into the top five and has made a case for the top three.
