One team is about to get a whole lot richer this recruiting cycle.

The nation’s No. 1 tight end, Isaac Nauta, will announce his decision in the coming weeks.

Nauta tweeted on Tuesday that he’d reveal his school of choice during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on January 9 during the fourth quarter.

Just a couple of days prior, Nauta announced that he’d be deciding between the home-state Georgia Bulldogs, Alabama Crimson Tide and Michigan Wolverines.

Popular belief is that he’s leaning toward Georgia, especially following the affirmation of Jacob Eason, the nation’s No. 1 quarterback, to play for the Bulldogs.

However, Nick Saban and Jim Harbaugh can close with the best of them, and they won’t make this easy for new UGA head coach Kirby Smart.

Nauta is one of the highest rated tight ends in years. He’s listed at 6-foot-4 and 237 pounds, and he will be a mismatch nightmare for opposing defensive coordinators.
