    Iowa vs. Pitt

    Final Score: Iowa 27, Pitt 24

    1. Marshall Koehn nailed a 57-yard bomb of a field goal as time ran out to give Iowa the win and avoid overtime. In a wild final few minutes, Pitt tied it on an eight-yard Tyler Boyd touchdown catch with 52 seconds to play, but the Hawkeyes went 31 yards to give Koehn the show.

    2. Iowa had a 17-7 lead in the second half, but Pitt came back on a 48-yard Chris Blewitt field goal and a 28-yard punt return for a score from Pat Amara. Iowa took the lead back on a one-yard Jordan Canzeri run, but Pitt went on its final drive right after, leading to the Boyd score.

    3.Canzeri ran for two scores and C.J. Beathard ran for a nine-yard score for the Hawkeyes.

    Iowa

    – C.J. Beathard completed 27-of-40 passes for 258 yards and a pick and ran eight times for 39 yards and a score.

    – Jordan Canzeri ran 12 times for 49 yards and two scores.

    – Tevaun Smith caught three passes for 73 yards.

    Pitt

    – Nathan Peterman completed 20-of-29 passes for 219 yards and two scores and two interceptions.

    – Darrin Hall ran 14 times for 38 yards.

    – Tyler Boyd caught ten passes for 131 yards and a score.
