The Indiana Hoosiers will battle the Duke Blue Devils in Yankee Stadium on Dec. 26 in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl.

The Hoosiers (6-6, 2-6 Big Ten) are participating in their 10th bowl game in program history and first since 2007. In a regular season where it lost six straight conference games, Indiana rebounded nicely winning its last two, including a 54-35 victory over Purdue in the last game of the season. The Boilermakers closed in to within 10 points of the Hoosiers in the third quarter, but Indiana tacked on 17 points in the fourth and ran away with the win. Nate Sudfeld torched the Purdue defense for 350 yards on 18-of-29 passing and accounted for five total touchdowns. Devine Redding balanced the Hoosiers offense by taking 22 carries for 144 yards and a touchdown. Indiana out-gained Purdue 659-486 on the day and the Hoosiers defense was able to force four Boilermaker turnovers. The Hoosiers are looking for their first postseason win since 1991 when Indiana shut out the Baylor Bears, 24-0, in the Copper Bowl.

The Blue Devils (7-5, 4-4 ACC) are making their third straight bowl appearance and 12th in program history. Duke capped of the 2015 regular season by stopping a four-game slide with a 27-21 win over Wake Forest. The Blue Devils led 24-7 after three quarters and managed to hold on for the win as the Demon Deacons brought it within a score. Thomas Sirk did it all for Duke, amassing 332 total yards along with three total touchdowns. Max McCaffrey was Sirk’s top target on the day as he hauled in five passes for 93 yards and was the recipient of both Sirk touchdown passes. The Blue Devils are hoping to stop a postseason losing streak that spans over 50 years. Duke has lost five straight bowl games with their last win over Arkansas in the 1961 Cotton Bowl.

The 2015 Pinstripe Bowl will be the fourth meeting between Indiana and Duke. The Hoosiers hold a slim 2-1 advantage in the series, but the Blue Devils took the last matchup, 31-24, in 1984.

Below is everything you need to know about the matchup, including the Pinstripe Bowl live stream, TV broadcast information, game notes and prediction.

Duke badly wants this game, especially for the seniors. The Hoosiers, though, will want it a little more. And they’ll have the offensive execution and pop to offset a flimsy defense that won’t have a significant role in the victory. The combination of Sudfeld and Redding will outperform Sirk, whose valiant effort in an entertaining shootout in the Bronx will come up a little short.
