    USC at Notre Dame

    In a wild firefight, Notre Dame took a 24-10 first half lead highlighted by a 75-yard touchdown catch from Will Fuller and a 25-yard scoring dash from C.J. Prosise, but USC roared back with 21 straight points helped by a 75-yard JuJu Smith-Schuster scoring play and an 83-yard pass play to Adoree Jackson. Just when it seemed like the Trojans had control with a four-yard Taylor McNamara touchdown catch for a 31-24 lead, Notre Dame turned it on. The Irish scored 17 unanswered points in the fourth with Prosise closing out a long drive with a six-yard scoring run, and Corey Robinson making a terrific ten-yard touchdown catch to take the lead for good. USC was penalized ten times for 105 yards.

    Player of the Game: Notre Dame RB C.J. Prosise ran 19 times for 143 yards and two scores, and caught five passes for 32 yards.  

    Cincinnati at BYU

    BYU pulled away in the fourth quarter with 21 unanswered points with scoring runs from Algernon Brown and Francis Bernard, and put away with a 53-yard Nick Kurtz touchdown catch after the Bearcats blew the coverage. The Bearcats got up 17-3 helped by a five-yard Mike Boone run, but BYU got back in it on a five-yard Brown run and a 19-yard Kurtz scoring grab. And then the Cougar defense took over and the offense took advantage. The two teams combined for 19 penalties.

    Player of the Game: BYU DE Bronson Kaufusi made six tackles with three sacks and a forced fumble with a blocked kick.

    Bucknell vs. Army West Point

    A.J. Schurr ran for two scoring runs and found Edgar Poe for a 68-yard touchdown as Army West Point overcame a rough start to pull off the win. Schurr came into the game and took over with two three-yard scoring runs, while the defense didn’t allow a thing after giving up two R.J. Nitti touchdown passes in the second quarter. Bucknell was hit by 14 penalties for 105 yards, while Army turned the ball over three times.

    Player of the Game: Army QB A.J. Schurr completed 3-of-8 passes for 100 yards with a touchdown and two picks, and he ran 31 times for 99 yards and two touchdowns.
