Holy Cross vs. Southern picks for the NCAA Tournament’s play-in game.

Holy Cross caught a heater and made the tournament on the wings of a 14-19 record and a Patriot League Tournament win. As for the Southern Jaguars, they’re a 22-game winner out of the SWAC. Both are No. 16 seeds and will face off in the First Four games.

The winner of this game will have the prestigious honor of facing Oregon in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Which team will have eyes on becoming the first ever No. 16 to defeat a No. 1?

This was fun, and it would be a fantastic story if the Crusaders got a win in their first ever NCAA Tournament. Holy Cross gets bounced in the play-in. The Jaguars will have a fight on their hands getting by Holy Cross in the play-in, and then they’ll lose to Oregon by 339 points.

    Ray Crawford

Bill Carmody and Holy Cross get to the tournament before Northwestern. There is justice.

    Shae Peppler

Holy Cross plays its way in thanks to Southern University but the Ducks prove to be too much.

    Ken Bikoff

Holy Cross got hot at the right time just to get to the NCAA Tournament, but the Jaguars will make the Crusaders’ stay short.

    Jordan Cornette

Holy Cross’ Princeton style offense can be a difficult nuance for opponents. Southern will lose in the first four as a 16 seed, enough said.
