    5 Keys To The Schedule

    – Where do you go for a fun game if you’re Hawaii? How about Australia, kicking off the 2016 season against Cal in Sydney. Playtime is over in a hurry with a trip to Michigan right after and a date at Arizona a few weeks later. The home game against UT Martin is the first break. There’s a 13th game against UMass to end the regular season.

    – The Rainbow Warriors alternate home and road games all year after the opening two dates away from Honolulu. Fortunately, after all the travelling in the first four games, there’s a week off in late September followed up by a home game with Nevada.

    – Boise State and New Mexico are the games against the Mountain, while going to Air Force isn’t easy. It’s a tough break in interdivisional play.

    – The combination of the tough dates against the other division, and the road trip to San Diego State, should kill and outside dreams of the Mountain West title, no matter how far-fetched they might be.

    – WATCH OUT FOR … UT Martin. The Skyhawks were destroyed by Ole Miss and Arkansas last season, but they were great in FCS play on the way to a 7-4 season. Considering this is supposed to be the breather in the midst of Cal, Michigan, and Arizona games very, very far from home, the Warriors can’t whiff.

2017 Non-Conference Games: Western Carolina, at UCLA, at Massachusetts, BYU
