September 12, 20151. Georgia opened the scoring on a 50-yard punt return for a score from Isaiah McKenzie, and despite a sluggish offensive performance, was never really threatened. Sonny Michel gave the Bulldogs a 14-3 lead on a 31-yard scoring dash.
2. Vanderbilt only managed two Tommy Openshaw second quarter field goals before finally getting into the end zone on a seven-yard Latevius Rayford catch in the final five minutes. The Commodores had one late chance, but Dominick Sanders came up with a pick six.
3. Greyson Lambert ran for a five-yard score, but the Georgia passing game struggled.
– Nick Chubb ran 19 times for 189 yards, and Sony Michel ran 12 times for 56 yards and a score
– Greyson Lambert completed 11-of-21 passes for 116 yards, and ran for a five-yard score. Brice Ramsey hit 2-of-4 passes for 25 yards
– Georgia committed ten penalties for 79 yards
– Johnny McCrary completed 24-of-50 passes for 295 yards and a score with three picks
– Ralph Webb ran 25 times for 68 yards
– Vanderbilt averaged just 2.7 yards per carry, finishing with 105 yards. The offense converted 3-of-4 fourth down chances
