    The Florida State Seminoles and Boston College Eagles will square off in a primetime, Friday night ACC game. The matchup will be the first conference game this season for both the Noles and Eagles.

    FSU topped USF in Week 2 to start the season 2-0. Star running back Dalvin Cook has stolen the show in the first two games, rushing for 422 yards and five touchdowns on 49 attempts. He’s averaging a blistering 211 yards per game.

    Boston College used the first two weeks as tune-up games before rolling into conference play. The Eagles topped FCS-level teams Maine and Howard in Week 1 and 2, respectively.

    • Florida State will look to improve to 3-0 for the fourth consecutive season, while winning its 13th consecutive true road game (not at a neutral site) at Boston College on Friday night at 8 p.m.
    • The game will mark the second Friday game of the Jimbo Fisher era and first since FSU defeated South Carolina in the Chick-fil-A Bowl 26-17 on Dec. 31, 2010. It’s the 32nd Friday game ever for Florida State and first in the regular season since Sept. 10, 2004 (16-10 OT loss at Miami). FSU is 17-14 all-time on Fridays, but has won 11 of its last 12 Friday games.

    Boston College Game Notes

    • This will be the 14th meeting between Boston College and Florida State and the 11th since the Eagles joined the Atlantic Coast Conference in 2005.
    • BC is 3-7 against FSU since joining the ACC. The Seminoles own a 9-4 advantage in the all-time series and have won the last five contests between the two ACC Atlantic Division foes.
