An FSU football recruiting update as of February 19, 2017. The Seminoles added two defensive ends to their 2018 recruiting class.

With ACC rival Miami making moves on the recruiting trail, Jimbo Fisher’s staff has been answering the bell with big moves of its own.

On Saturday, Florida State landed two commitments from 3-star defensive ends Stacy Kirby and Kayode Oladele.

The Seminoles now have eight total commits in the cycle and are up to No. 6 in the 2018 recruiting class rankings.

Oladele, from Miami, attends Miami Edison Senior High School. Kirby, on the other hand, attends Jones High School in Orlando, which is where former FSU playmaker Kermit Whitfield played high school football.

But the ‘Noles didn’t slow down there. They also extended scholarship offers to 3-star offensive tackle Daniel Faalele, who attends the IMG Academy. FSU has developed a strong pipeline to IMG, and Faalele could end up being the latest Ascender to end up in Tallahassee.
