An FSU football recruiting update as of February 12, 2017. The Seminoles are looking to add yet another monster haul with their 2018 recruiting class.

The next couple of weeks for the Seminoles are going to be big when it comes to the 2018 recruiting class. Florida State will host its junior days on Feb. 18 and Feb. 25, and there are surely going to be some blue-chip prospects in attendance.

Four-star outside linebacker Quay Walker, 3-star outside linebacker Amari Gainer and 3-star outside linebacker David Reese are all expected to be on hand in Tallahassee. But one of the most notable visitors isn’t set to graduate high school for another two years.

Owen Pappoe, a 4-star outside linebacker in the 2019 class, is set to visit on Saturday. It will be a chance for Jimbo Fisher’s staff to make a big impact on the young prospect, as FSU will likely have to battle Georgia for his eventual commitment.

The ‘Noles currently have the No. 4 class in the 2018 rankings, but they’ll have to fight off their biggest rival from trying to flip 4-star running back James Cook. The Gators are one of many teams actively trying to flip Dalvin Cook’s younger brother much like FSU flipped Dalvin from Florida in the 2013 cycle.
