Non-Conference Games: at Nebraska, Sacramento State, at Toledo, Tulsa
Games vs. the Mountain: at Utah State, Air Force, at Colorado State
– The last thing a team needs when it’s trying to rebuild and rebound is to start out at Nebraska. Going to Toledo won’t be easy, either, and neither will a good showdown at home against Tulsa. The Bulldogs need to blast away on Sacramento State.
– Boise State is off the interdivisional part of the fun, but going to Utah State and Colorado State is a problem. Thrown in the home date against Air Force, and the Mountain games will be a challenge.
– There’s a stretch of three road games in four weeks right in the middle of the season, and it doesn’t help that the home game in the mix is against San Diego State.
– The big break comes late with three of the last four games at home with a week off on November 5th. That means the Bulldogs leave Fresno once from October 29th on.
– WATCH OUT FOR … the Mountain West opener at UNLV. That run of three road games in four weeks also coincides with the start of the conference season. Lose to the Rebels, and with at Nevada, San Diego State, at Utah State, Air Force and at Colorado State to follow, it could be a long season.
