Will this be the game Florida’s offense breaks out and puts up a bunch of points? No, but that doesn’t matter. Arkansas’ offense might be worse at the moment, which doesn’t bode well considering how well the Gators’ defense is playing. Florida wins comfortably.

The Gators have some backfield issues right now. Jordan Cronkrite is going through some personal issues, but he’ll travel with the team. Mark Thompson was suspended for a game for being caught with marijuana. But the good news is Jordan Scarlett has really embraced his role as the go-to tailback. Scarlett will find his way into the end zone at least once, and the Gators’ defensive front will ruin everything Bret Bielema wants to do. Austin Allen will be forced to throw to either Jalen Tabor or Quincy Wilson, and there’s no chance he comes out of this game without an interception. Florida wins a close one, buoyed again by the defense.

Florida football isn’t fun viewing. The defense is fantastic, so Austin Allen and Rawleigh Williams will have their hands full trying to move the football for the Hogs. Offensively, though, Luke Del Rio leaves a lot to be desired at the quarterback position. The Gators should be able to find room on the ground against a Razorbacks team that was brutalized versus the run against Auburn. This game comes down to the wire, when UF makes a late defensive stop to preserve a victory.

Arkansas can’t run the ball, at all, so the Razorbacks will have to air it out. Florida’s passing defense ranks No. 2 in the country. Hogs will have trouble moving the football; Florida wins.

    Brian Stultz

I would have been tempted to pick the Razorbacks in an upset considering they are at home until I saw them play against Auburn. What in the name of Jerry Jones was that? The Hogs were run over like, well, a hog being sent off to a slaughterhouse.

Florida’s defense continues games. Seriously, the entire offense (and Jim McElwain) should get down on their knees and worship the defensive players for being in such great position to win the SEC East. They clean do their laundry, drive them around campus on a golf cart, and do whatever it takes to show their appreciation for what the defensive players have done. Gators win again.
