Florida State vs. Miami online live stream, TV broadcast information, and predictions. Will the Seminoles stay undefeated after the in-state matchup?
October 9, 2015One of the biggest in-state rivalries takes center stage as the No. 12 Florida State Seminoles welcome the Miami Hurricanes to Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday night.
The Seminoles are an undefeated 4-0 and will get their first test of the season against a talented Hurricanes team. Florida State had to hang on last week at Wake Forest. RB Dalvin Cook got the party started with a 94-yard touchdown run, but then exited the game early with an injury and left the Florida State offense to flat line. QB Everett Golson had 202 yards through the air and a touchdown, but it took a Tyler Hunter interception in the end zone to seal the victory for Florida State.
The Hurricanes are looking to bounce back after a somewhat surprising loss to Cincinnati last Thursday. The loss snapped Miami’s 11-game winning streak over the Bearcats. While QB Brad Kaaya was held without a TD pass, RB Joseph Yearby did his best to carry the load, rushing for 113 yards and a score.
This rivalry is one that dates back to 1951, with the Hurricanes leading the series 31-28 all-time. However, the Seminoles have had the last laugh as of late winning the last five-straight. Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher has never lost to Miami in his career, hoping to improve his record to 6-0 over the ‘Canes.
Below is everything you need to know about the game, including the Florida State vs. Miami online live stream options, TV broadcast information, game notes and prediction.
Florida State is not a great football team right now, and the injuries are troublesome. But if the Noles do one thing well, it’s survive, particularly in Tallahassee. It’ll be nip-and-tuck throughout, with neither team building a double-digit bulge at any point in the game. Golson, sans his usual backfield mate, will be the Week 6 hero, displaying his crunch-time experience with a couple of decisive drives down the stretch.
