This weekend’s game between No. 8 Florida and No. 6 LSU is a flashback to the last decade, when the Gators and Tigers regularly battled for SEC supremacy. Both teams enter undefeated and in control of their own destiny. A win and it’s one step closer to the SEC Championship and College Football Playoff.

For the Gators, they’ll have to do it without redshirt freshman quarterback Will Grier, who will be sidelined for the next year after testing positive for a banned substance. Waiting in his absence is sophomore Treon Harris, who is more than capable of being effective for Florida and has ample game experience. 

On the other side of the ball, the Gators feature arguably the scariest defense in the nation. The cornerbacks are good enough to leave on an island, freeing up the front to pin its ears back and harrass the quarterback all night long.

But Florida is facing a different kind of animal in all-world running back Leonard Fournette. He’s a combination of Bo Jackson, Herschel Walker, and Emmitt Smith. He is a nightmare for opposing teams. He is big and he is bad.
