The Florida Gators spring game is set for Friday, April 8. Here’s the Orange & Blue Debut info, including date, time and how to watch.

The defending SEC East champion Florida Gators are looking for an answer on offense in head coach Jim McElwain’s second season. Much like this time last year, it’ll start with the quarterback battle during practice and the spring game. Redshirt junior Luke Del Rio leads the way right now for the job under center. Del Rio is battling graduate transfer Austin Appleby and freshmen Feleipe Franks and Kyle Trask.
Whoever is in charge of throwing the ball at Florida’s spring game will need to find a replacement at wide receiver for suspended wide receiver Antonio Callaway and NFL-bound Demarcus Robinson.
The offensive line will have to grow together as well, considering that the young group gave up 24 sacks in the final six games of last season.
Despite losing a slew of elite players on the other side of the ball – Vernon Hargreaves III, Jonathan Bullard, Antonio Morrison, to name a few – the defense should be a rock once again. Redshirt junior Caleb Brantley, sophomore CeCe Jefferson, and senior Bryan Cox, Jr. are a few of the returners that’ll help anchor the defensive line.
