Dylan Moses, the nation’s No. 2 overall recruit in 2017, has a new leader on his top 5 schools list.
A lot can happen in a short window. In spite of a report he canceled his trip to Austin, Texas to visit Charlie Strong and the Longhorns, Dylan Moses did end up heading to UT’s campus over the weekend. The visit went well enough that Moses walked away with Texas as his new No. 1 school.
Moses tweeted his top five list on Saturday before stopping to see the Houston Cougars Sunday.
Alabama dropped to No. 2 behind Texas, which is surprising given the fact that Moses was ready to commit and reaffirmed the Crimson Tide as his leader earlier in the week. UCLA and LSU are tied for third while USC sits at No. 4.
Some other programs in the hunt for Moses’ commitment are Florida, Georgia and Michigan.
Moses transferred from Baton Rouge, La. to the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. earlier this year. The move came after he decommitted from LSU.
He’s the No. 1-ranked athlete in the class.
