Five-star outside linebacker Dylan Moses signed his financial aid paperwork for Alabama and officially ended his recruitment on Sunday.
That’s a wrap, folks. The recruitment that started roughly half a decade ago when he was 14 years old has come to an end.
Five-star prospect Dylan Moses signed his financial aid paperwork with Alabama and ended his recruitment on Sunday.
The move from the nation’s No. 1 outside linebacker and No. 6 overall player comes on the heels of an official visit to LSU, where Ed Orgeron and the Tigers took one last shot at bringing Moses back to his hometown of Baton Rouge.
The 5-star linebacker released a statement on his decision.
“[I’m] happy to say that my recruiting process is officially over. I just signed my financial aid papers and had it faxed over to the University of Alabama. I thank every college that has given me the opportunity to live out my dreams and pursue a college education. From this point, I’ll continue my training to get ready to participate in the UA all-American game, and the afterwards report to campus January 8th to start the spring semester as an early enrollee. Like I always say, the best is yet to come. God bless.”
Moses is an early enrollee, which is why he’ll be headed to Tuscaloosa on Jan. 8 following the Under Armour All-America Game.
He’s a cornerstone of the Crimson Tide’s 2017 recruiting class, which is currently ranked as the No. 1 class in the nation with 24 total commits.
