The Fighting Irish (11-5, 2-2 ACC) have pulled even in conference play after beating Georgia Tech, 72-64, in South Bend, Ind. on Wednesday night. Notre Dame’s excellent free throw shooting was key down the stretch, as the Irish connected on 11-of-12 foul shots in the game’s final minutes to hold off the Yellow Jackets. Zach Auguste had a big game for the Irish finishing with 24 points on 10-of-13 shooting and nine rebounds. Demetrius Jackson struggled from the field (2-of-11), but he finished with 18 points thanks to some superior free throw shooting (13-of-14).

Prediction

Duke certainly wasn’t content having lost against Clemson. Grayson Allen came into this season as the go-to scorer for Mike Krzyzewski, and that’s what he’s going to have to be against Notre Dame. Allen will have a big scoring night, and Ingram will be right there with him. The Blue Devils will win this one easily.
