4-Star QB Danny Clark Commits To Kentucky Wildcats
Four-star quarterback Danny Clark committed to the Kentucky Wildcats Saturday morning. The former Ohio State commit moved Mark Stoops' team up the 2017 recruiting class rankings.

Four-star quarterback Danny Clark committed to the Kentucky Wildcats Saturday morning.
Two months have passed since Danny Clark decommitted from his childhood team and dream school, Ohio State, but he apparently has found a new dream.
The 4-star recruit and Akron, Ohio native committed to Kentucky Saturday morning, bringing the Wildcats’ total to 13 commits. Mark Stoops’ team moved up from No. 57 to No. 44 in the 2017 recruiting class rankings with 1,124 total recruiting points. Clark’s decision added 194 points.
Clark, who’s rated as the No. 26 quarterback in the nation and the No. 2 quarterback in the state of Ohio, released a brief statement regarding his decision.
“I am blessed and proud to say I’m 100-percent committed to the University of Kentucky Wildcats.”
The coaching staff, specifically head coach Mark stoops, co-offensive coordinator Darin Hinshaw and recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow, established a great relationship with Clark. But the 4-star quarterback also sees an ideal scheme fit and a chance to grow as a player.
“My dad and I are sold on this program, and the offense is perfect for a pro-style quarterback such as myself,” Clark told Scout. “I’m thrilled to have this opportunity, and there was no need for me to go out and see other schools. Kentucky is it for me.”
Clark officially visited Kentucky on Oct. 8 for its 20-13 win over Vanderbilt. He’s back on campus in Lexington this weekend for the Wildcats’ home game against SEC foe Mississippi State.
The 4-star quarterback is the highest-rated commit for Kentucky. The Wildcats now have five Ohio natives in their class.
