Dak Prescott was arrested early Saturday morning in Starkville for a DUI, which couldn't have come at a worse time for the former Mississippi State quarterback.
March 13, 2016Dak Prescott didn’t help out his draft stock this weekend when he was arrested for a DUI. According to The Clarion-Ledger, the heralded Mississippi State quarterback was detained early Saturday morning by Starkville police and later released on bond.
With the 2016 NFL Draft looming, the arrest couldn’t have come at a worse time for Prescott. It may ultimately not affect where he’s selected, but it certainly won’t help as franchises put him under the microscope.
Fortunately for Prescott, this is the lone off-the-field blemish.
Prescott capped off a record-setting career with the Bulldogs this past season. He threw for 3,793 yards, ran for another 588, and scored 39 touchdowns in 2015.
He’s been projected to be drafted as high as the second round and as low as the fourth.
