The D1Baseball.com Top 25 rankings for March 7 are heavy on the Southeastern Conference.
Three weeks of college baseball have been wrapped up, and that means a fresh look at the D1Baseball.com Top 25 rankings.
There wasn’t much movement in the top half of the rankings. In fact, the top-12 teams from last week all stood still, with the Florida Gators still leading the pack after beating Central Florida with two wins last week (W 9-5, W 4-0). The Gators also swept Dartmouth this past weekend (W 7-0, W 4-3, W 8-6).
In the rankings’ bottom half, Ole Miss made a sizable jump from No. 17 to No. 13. It was a flip-flop with South Carolina, who fell from No. 13 to No. 17 in the rankings.
Virginia moved up one slot to No. 18 while UCLA hopped from No. 21 to No. 19.
Georgia Tech, who wasn’t ranked last week, now finds itself at No. 21, replacing the Bruins. Clemson is the other new face in the crowd. After not being ranked last week, the Tigers are sitting at No. 22.
Cal-State Fullerton, Louisiana-Lafayette and Oklahoma State remain at 23, 24 and 25 respectively.
