    1. Colorado rolled without a problem scoring 21 first quarter points with Phillip Lindsay running for a four-yard score and Jay MacIntyre, the coach’s son, making a 38-yard touchdown catch.

    2. The Buffs took their foot off the gas, but came up with a one-yard Lindsay score in the third and Donovan Lee ran for a 59-yard score late in the quarter.

    3. Nicholls State turned the ball over three times, and only came up with eight first downs. The Buff defense always held, and was never really threatened.

    Colorado

    – Sefo Liufau completed 13-of-21 passes for 227 yards and a score.

    – Phillip Lindsay completed 17 of 113 yards and two scores, and Donovan Lee ran ten times for 103 yards and a score.

    – Colorado outgained Nicholls State 636 yards to 166.
