After registering a rare blowout last week over Hawaii, the Rebels have the wind at their backs. The offense wants to build off its strong finish against the Warriors in which Keith Whitely and Lexington Thomas both enjoyed huge holes and rushed for more than 100 yards.
In UNLV, the Rams are facing one of the Mountain West’s flimsiest defenses. Colorado State wants to hammer away with 220-pound RB Jasen Oden, helping set up QB Nick Stevens to WR Rashard Higgins over the top. CSU also has the better line play, and should have few worries about the feeble Rebel pass rush.
Colorado State is ready to make a push toward the postseason, needing to win this final home game of 2015. Oden will soften up the interior of the UNLV defense, allowing Stevens to collaborate with Higgins on his first two-touchdown game of the year.
Final Score: Colorado State 33, UNLV 27, Line: Colorado State -7.5, o/u: 58
