College football recruiting rankings update following Under Armour All-America Game commitments. Ohio State relinquishes the top spot.
January 4, 2016The 2016 Under Armour All-America game ended with Team Highlight laying it onto Team Armour, 27-0, in Orlando, Fla. on Saturday.
Football wise, we saw a lot from some of the nation’s top recruits, such as Rashan Gary and Malik Henry, but most of the hype surrounded the players who announced their commitments during the game. Below is who revealed their college decision.
LSU picked up a big-time commitment from Drake Davis only a week after picking up a commitment from 4-star wide receiver Stephen Sullivan. That helped leapfrog the Tigers to the top spot, unseating Ohio State, in the latest college football recruiting rankings, according to 247Sports Composite.
Clemson also landed its third highest rated prospect for 2016 in the nation’s No. 2 inside linebacker, Rahshaun Smith. Dabo Swinney’s Tigers jumped from No. 13 to No. 10 in the latest rankings.
