College football recruiting rankings update as of Feb. 26, 2017. Miami added a commitment from 4-star quarterback Artur Sitkowski to climb into the top three.

Fewer teams have been making as many moves as Mark Richt’s Hurricanes have this month. On Saturday, Miami picked up another big piece of its 2018 recruiting class when 4-star quarterback Artur Sitkowski committed to the ‘Canes over Florida and Florida State.

While that helped put Miami at No. 3, Florida State dropped out of the top five and down to No. 7 after it watched 4-star running back Justin Watkins flip his commitment to Texas. Tom Herman’s Longhorns are still on the outside looking in, though, as they currently sit at No. 30.

As for another team moving down the rankings, USC had been one of the hotter teams in the country. However, on Friday, 4-star wide receiver Manuel Allen decommitted from the Trojans, and the loss of his pledge knocked Clay Helton’s team down to No. 4 in the 2018 recruiting class rankings.
