December 30, 2015The week college football fans have been waiting for is finally here. On New Year’s Eve, four teams will battle in the second edition of the College Football Playoff.
Clemson, Alabama, Michigan State and Oklahoma escaped the regular season to earn berths in the two semifinal games. The undefeated Tigers were awarded the No. 1 seed and will face off against the No. 4-seeded Sooners. The Crimson Tide rolled to the No. 2 seed and a showdown with the No. 3-seeded Spartans.
Clemson and Oklahoma will get underway first in the Orange Bowl, and Alabama and Michigan State will kickoff in the Cotton Bowl four hours later.
Alabama is the lone returning team from the inaugural College Football Playoff. The Crimson Tide lost to Ohio State, 42-35, in last season’s Sugar Bowl.
